Web Development & Websites

Not everyone needs a big platform right away. Sometimes it is a professional one-pager, a multi-page company website or a booking system. We build websites for everyone – done properly and easy to find.

Sound familiar?

  • You have no website yet – or one that looks dated and never shows up on Google.
  • You want to update content yourself instead of calling an agency every time.
  • You still handle appointments and bookings by phone and on paper instead of online.

Then a conversation is the fastest route to an assessment.

What we do - What we build for you with Web Development

  • Professional one-pager

A compact website that presents you or your business properly online – built quickly.

  • Company websites

Multi-page websites managed through a CMS like Weblication – you update the content yourself.

  • Booking systems

Let people book appointments, tables or courses online – including calendar and notifications.

  • Search engine optimization

Technically clean and optimized for Google, so your customers actually find you.

The right tool for every project

For a classic company website we like using the Weblication CMS – it lets you edit content yourself without breaking the design. When things get more custom, like a booking system, our Laravel expertise takes over.

Whatever the size of your project: we build it cleanly, optimized for mobile and findable in search engines. And as a small team from Bavaria, you always get a real contact person instead of a hotline.

We settle the tooling question before the quote, not halfway through. Rough rule of thumb: if it is a manageable number of pages you want to maintain yourself, a CMS is right. If there is logic behind the site – availability, price calculation, customer accounts, a connection to another system – a Laravel application is the more honest base. The most expensive route is squeezing an application into a CMS after the fact because the CMS looked cheaper at the start.

Cleanly built means verifiable here: semantic HTML instead of nested div thickets, images in modern formats and sensible sizes, no fonts or scripts blocking the render. That is not an end in itself – it is the difference between a page that appears instantly on a phone over mobile data and one that stays white for three seconds. Google measures exactly that, and visitors notice it without any measuring tool.

We plan accessibility in from the start rather than retrofitting it. Since June 28, 2025 the German Accessibility Act covers many private-sector sites – and the places where it fails in practice are almost always the same: contrast that is too weak, headings that only look like headings, form fields without labels, no keyboard operation. In the design phase this costs almost nothing. Afterwards it costs a redesign.

And since the question comes up anyway: the website is yours. Access to hosting, domain and CMS runs in your name, not ours, and you get it documented. If you hand the work to someone else one day, that should be a decision, not an ordeal.

Honestly

When we advise against it

Not every enquiry belongs with us. These are the ones we turn down in the intro call – here they are upfront, so you can skip the call.

  • Custom business logic, roles and integrations behind a login

Then it is an application, not a website – and it should be planned as one.

    Better fit: Custom Software
  • Selling products with a cart, payment and shipping

That belongs in a shop system, not in a website with a form bolted on.

    Better fit: Shopware & E-Commerce
  • Content that has to feed a website, an app and other channels at once

Then you separate content from output from the start.

    Better fit: Headless CMS

What fits you - Three shapes – and what each one is good for

Pick the shape that matches your situation – the price is right there, so you never have to ask for it. It is a ballpark figure; your binding quote comes after a short conversation. If you would rather work it out yourself, use the package configurator: put together what you need there and see your price range right away.

Instead of references: what you can check yourself

For this service we have no client reference we could show with numbers we can back up – and inventing one is off the table. What we can offer instead is work of ours that is public and that you can check without us being involved.

  • This website

Built with React 19 and Next.js 16, statically pre-rendered. The source, the sitemap, the structured data and the Core Web Vitals are all public – run the homepage through PageSpeed Insights and you see the same numbers we do.

  • Our Shopware plugins

Published in the official Shopware Store, which means they went through Shopware’s code review. The description, changelog and ratings live there, not here.

WebDAV Browser is on the App Store – published under our developer account and through Apple’s review.

Who builds this?

You work directly with Marcel

At Viovenia your project is not passed between rotating teams – it is built directly by Marcel, senior software engineer. You talk to the person who writes your code, from the first call to running in production. No project-manager loop, no ticket ping-pong.

How we work - Five steps to your project

Transparent and free of stress – that is how working with us goes. More about our process.

  1. 01

    Intro call

Half an hour where you describe the project and get concrete questions back. It ends with a first read on feasibility and rough size – including when that read is “not worth it”.

  2. 02

    Concept & quote

In writing, with scope, the technology involved, the assumptions behind it and what is explicitly not included. Split into “needed at launch” and “can come later”, so the scope stays negotiable.

  3. 03

    Development in stages

After each stage there is something usable on a test environment, not just a status report. Change requests go in where they are cheapest: before the next stage starts.

  4. 04

    Launch

Before going live: a run through the core workflows, a backup concept, monitoring switched on. Afterwards you get access, source code and documentation handed over in full, not on request.

  5. 05

    Operation

Updates, monitoring and further development – as fixed care or on call. No minimum term: what keeps you should be the work, not the contract.

Frequently asked - Questions about Web Development

What does a website cost?
A one-pager starts at around €390, a multi-page company website with a CMS at roughly €990. Custom projects such as booking systems are quoted based on scope. These are fair ballpark figures – you get a firm estimate in the intro call.
Can I edit the content myself?
Yes. On websites built with the Weblication CMS you edit text and images yourself – we set everything up so you cannot break anything, and we show you how it works.
How long until my website is live?
A one-pager realistically takes two to three weeks, a multi-page company website four to eight weeks, a site with its own logic – booking, customer accounts, integrations – considerably longer. These timelines start the moment your copy and images are available. The most common cause of delay is not us, it is missing content.
What happens if Marcel is unavailable?
Fair question for a small team, so here is the honest answer: we are not an agency with a stand-in rota. What we do instead is preparation rather than promises. Your code sits in a repository you have access to, the setup is documented, and hosting and domain run in your name. Someone else could pick the work up without starting from zero – and that is precisely the difference from a dependency.
Do you build booking systems too?
Yes. Online appointment booking, reservations or course sign-ups are built on our Laravel expertise – tailored to your workflow, including calendar and notifications.
